Ice Cream Shop Makes People Sign Waiver Before Eating Super Spicy Ice Cream

February 9, 2018

In Glasgow, Scotland, one ice cream parlor has done something quite unthinkable: fuse ice cream Carolina Reapers.  This limited-edition ice cream is known as "Devil's Breath."

The peppers make it 500x hotter than Tabasco sauce!

However if you ever find yourself in a position to try this ice cream, you have to prove you're over 18 AND sign a waiver acknowledging "risk of personal injury, illness, and possible loss of life."

The Devil's Breath is served at Aldwych Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor in Glasgow, Scotland but the recipe is originally from Italy.  The cafe owner's brother Lee Bandoni said the recipe dates back to 1936, and their Italian family members traditionally make it once a year.
