February 15, 2018
Following the tragic events that happened in Florida, an eighth grader attending Nichols Junior High School was arrested for making a threat to the school. The 13-year-old claims that he was only joking and says he was going to bring a Nerf gun to school. Arlington police arrested the boy and is charged with a terroristic threat to a school. The student did not bring a gun to campus. Three other North Texas schools made arrests to students who also threatened to bring fire arms to school, which includes Flower Mound Marcus High School, Plano West Senior High School and South Garland High School. These threats are no joke kids, please don't do this.   J.R. Salinas Source via FOX4
