‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ temporarily resumed production on Wednesday. Due to the coronavirus, the iconic soap opera will now be using one of the blow up dolls they already had on set to film upcoming sex scenes. The new guidelines for the show were revealed by Bradley Bell, executive producer and head writer for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.’

According to Bell, the idea to use the doll was thought of with social distancing in mind. “We put our heads together trying to figure out a way to make these scenes work without breaking the eight-foot [distancing> rule...and we brought out a doll we used years ago as a corpse,” said Bell. Luckily, the doll was “very convincing,” but producers are just hoping viewers feel the same way.
