Dave Grohl’s music has helped many fans get through troubling times, but for Grohl it’s another musician’s work that he turns to when needing a pick me up. With people around the globe currently stuck at home, many have turned to music to help deal with the coronavirus. For Grohl, it was Fiona Apple’s newest album that he praised as helping him get through quarantine.

In a recent interview, Dave Grohl discussed how music seems to be a leading force in helping people deal with the confusion of quarantine and the coronavirus. The Foo Fighters frontman, and former Nirvana drummer, pointed out a specific album that has helped him, and some fans were a bit surprised by the choice. ““Yeah no, that’s true. I mean, thank God for the new Fiona Apple record! It’s beautiful, and it’s been a long time coming,” said Grohl.

Fiona Apple released ‘Fetch The Bolt Cutters’ last month. It was her first album in eight years, and has been praised by many. Now she can count Dave Grohl as yet another person loving her latest work.
