Coaches In Connecticut Set Baseball Field On Fire To Dry It Off

It's Not The Worst Idea, Is It? I Mean, If It Works, That Is.

April 10, 2019

My son has played baseball, two seasons a year, since he was 3 and a half. He's almost 12 now. That's 8.5 years. (I think)

I have never heard something like this happening. Especially in Connecticut! I would for sure think Florida, but I digress.

Some coaches saw the field was too wet to play, but they were sick of it, and decided to take matters into their own hands. They set the high school baseball field on fire, so the game could go on. Problem is, it cost $50,000.00 in damage. Yikes.

Your thoughts?
