Lana Del Rey's new album, "Norman F**king Rockwell" was released last week, and ALT 103.7's Lindsey got her on the phone to talk about her music and the new album. Listen to the complete interview in the audio below.

In the interview, Lindsey asked what it's like for Del Rey to work on an album, and if it's emotional to release a new album. "It's different every time. But for some reason in the last week I really just started thinking a lot about the album, and hoping people liked it. And I think it's just cause it got written in such a natural way that it feels like for the music has been so much a part of my year. So it's funny now to hear it with everybody. But honestly, everyone I have spoken to has been really cool," She said.

Her sixth studio album was mainly produced and co-written with Jack Antonoff and will include ‘Venice Bitch,’ ‘Mariners Apartment Complex,’ the cover of Sublime's 'Doin Time' and more. Del Rey told Lindsey what it was like to work with Antonoff on this record, "I think he brought me all the way into my comfort zone. Which I didn't even really realize needed to happen. And I think he's just so easy to get along with. So much of a no-pressure personality...That was good for me for the time," she said.

"Norman F**king Rockwell" will feature two separate cover arts. One features Del Rey and Duke Nicholson, grandson of actor Jack Nicholson, posing on a sailboat, the other is exclusive to Urban Outfitters featuring Del Rey with three of her friends. Both were shot by Del Rey's sister Chuck Grant. "Objectively, I just love what my sister does. She's such a great photographer," Del Rey said. Adding, "I think almost more than any album cover it's really special for me to have a couple of my girlfriends on there...I've got my little ladies of the Canyon up there with me."

Earlier this year Del Rey relesed a hearbreaking song that is a powerful response to mass shootings, 'Looking For America'.

Hi folks came back early from Montecito with my brother this morning and asked Jack Antonoff to come into town because I had a song on my mind that I wanted to write. Now I know I’m not a politician and I’m not trying to be so excuse me for having an opinion- but in light of all of the mass shootings and the back to back shootings in the last couple of days which really affected me on a cellular level I just wanted to post this video that our engineer Laura took 20 minutes ago. I hope you like it. I’m singing love to the choruses I recorded this morning. I’m going to call it ‘Looking for America ‘ @jackantonoff @sharp_stick

Del Rey released the song on Instagram, and says she doesn't know what future plans she may have for the song. "At the moment it's just kind of out there. I wasn't even sure If I would produce it beyond the video that our engineer Laura took that we put up on Instagram...But I could see it maybe being apart of a future record," Del Rey said.

Del Rey covers Sublime's 'Doin Time' on the upcoming record, and she dropped a unique video for the song recently.

So how did she come up with this concept? "I have been lucky enough to work with this guy named Rich Lee on the last few music videos that I've done. And he's just so good with special effects...We'd been talking about if I ever did a video for The Sublime song that maybe we would do it in the drive-in and make it kind of '50s. But then we talking about favorite '50s movies, then 'Godzilla' and 'King Kong' and we were like, "We should just do it. Just make me a giant." Definitely unexpected, but kind of fun," She said.
