$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Richardson Remains Unclaimed

June 28, 2019

A huge sum of cash is waiting in Richardson for someone to pick it up.

At the beginning of the year, a winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at the 7-Eleven at 4180 E. Renner Road in Richardson.  As of now, that winning ticket remains unclaimed.  And unfortunately for the winner, the time to claim the ticket is about to expire.

The winner has until 5:30 p.m. TONIGHT to claim the ticket in person, or through mail as long as the ticket is postmarked before Sunday, June 30.  If the ticket remains unclaimed, the winnings will be forfeited.

Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, said, "We encourage our Mega Millions® players to take another look at their ticket, check the numbers again and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket and contact us."
